STORY
Dr. Alexander Chromus was an award-winning painter until an accident in the Outback left him colorblind. Since then, he has sworn revenge on all animals, kidnapping, among others, a kangaroo named Jade. Driven mad by his search for a cure, Dr. Chromus conducted evil experiments which inadvertently gave Jade colorkenetic powers!
After breaking out of captivity with a powerful kick, Jade vowed to not only escape the lab, but to use her new color-switching powers to rescue the others and put an end to Dr. Chromus's tyranny once and for all...
GAMEPLAY
By switching the active color with a button press, contraptions around the lab react in different ways. For example, when the color blue is active, blue blocks become solid, whereas red, green, and yellow blocks become passable. Thus, Switcheroo is its own unique breed of platformer, combining skillful movement with strategic color-swapping!
Other examples of contraptions include Crushers, which will crush any object below when their color is active, Dispensers, which only dispense objects when their color is active, and Potted Plants, which grow tall when their color is active.
Color can have more drastic effects on an entire level as well. In some stages. the water level or even the gravity can be affected by the current active color!
And that's just scratching the surface; the possibilities are endless!
CONTENT
Switcheroo contains over 30 levels scattered across 11 zones. From the deepest depths of Midnight Zone, where you must rely on colored lights to guide your way, to the whimsical shenanigans of Circus Zone, where you operate a color-coded claw machine, there are plenty of adventures to be had!
Each level also contains 3 batteries, tucked away in hidden corridors or at the end of platforming challenges. These collectibles are used to unlock ultra-hard secret levels... Are you up for the challenge?

Challenge your Steam friends to see who can speedrun the fastest, or duke it out with some of the best players known to man (er, kangaroo) on the global leaderboards!
