Some time in our future, humans and their machine work force have reached a distant stellar neighbourhood and multiple factions are competing for dominance. Explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate across the nearby stars in a real-scale, fully-3D environment to overcome your rivals, mastering military power, prosperous governance, booming industry, wealth, resources, and their separate technology trees. Choose your faction and your path to victory, but travel it alone; you’ll find no friends in the hostile and dangerous depths of space.
Military
There are no alliances or treaties - everyone is a threat, all of the time.
Build fleets of ships and armies to defend, attack, colonise, and occupy the many planets in the local stellar neighbourhood. Engage enemies on the surface of planet and in space warfare.
Prosperity
People are the soul of your faction. It is their home you must build and protect. The politicians emerge to represent your growing population will provide extra boosts to your faction.
However, you must keep your people happy. AI and advanced machinery have given the populace a life of luxury, but the hostile new worlds are no utopia... yet.
Industry
Machines have replaced humans as the slaves that build the biggest empires. Develop your industrial might and use it to build the foundations and infrastructure of your faction. Balance the immediate benefits of your machines with the long term benefits of growing their number.
Economy
Wealth is accrued and distributed across your faction. Ensure you keep the wealth keeps flowing or your faction will crumble under it's own weight.
Knowledge
Your faction simultaneously researches a tech from each of the 6 tech trees. Some techs are shared between trees, so what ways can you find through the trees to maximise your technological mastery?
Resource
13 resources can be exploited to boost the effectiveness of your ships and armies, the prosperous traits of your planets, and the productivity of their industries. Scan other planets to find what resources are available, then expand to exploit them.
