Inspired by my first game 'Rise of the Penguins GB', 'Rise of the Penguins 2: Penguin's Dark Ascent' is a 2D Side-Scrolling Action-Platformer meant to feel like Rise of the Penguins GB but a more modern interpretation. Player's get to play as a penguin named Kaito who challenges the Crimson Star cult that is a group that was formed when the world went into Eternal Dusk and is preventing the red star from being reactivated causing unrest throughout the penguin community. Along the journey there are a few allies Kaito will meet that provide some dialogue for the player to interact with that is mostly optional. The story is meant to be brief and not hinder eager players that just want to play the game. Well at the same time giving a timeline to the events that occurred in the first game.
