Project: AMICA is filled with colorful, eye-popping areas! From striking jungles to the disco fueled cities of Earth's Sector 5. You'll revisit old areas through branching paths with new weapons and power ups collected along your journey, allowing you to progress further in the world of Project: AMICA.
Every weapon has a secondary alt-fire, designed to be just as useful as your primary-fire. Using different types of weapons with their accompanied alt-fire in different combat scenarios will play a big role in your survival. Keeping track of your ammo, health and what power ups you have equipped is key when staying alive and progressing through the areas of Project: AMICA.
In order to realize our vision, we settled for the GZDoom Engine as the foundation for Project: AMICA. It not only was the choice for making an old-school FPS game like this, it also allows you to easily modify Project: AMICA however you want with third-party tools!
Project: AMICA is inspired by the games that brought First Person Shooters to where they are today. Games such as Quake, Doom and more! From the start, we at dofhouse had two goals in mind, to pay tribute to the "old" and to show the "new" how it's done! It is our love letter to everything 90's <3
