Noble Legacy is a medieval city building game from a 3rd person perspective. With the depth of city building simulation games and the immersiveness of 3rd person RPGs, Noble Legacy will deliver on what it means to: “Be the ruler of a medieval kingdom.”
You will take on the role of the scion of a minor noble house, returned from a distant and lengthy war to find your father dead, your family’s ancestral demesne in ruins, and your peasant population scattered to the winds. You must rebuild a village, attract new villagers, create a prosperous economy, build yourself a castle, and defend your people from those who would take advantage of them.
Building system: Highly customizable, but coupled with a distinct prefab system that will allow users to make very good looking villages with low effort and customize just the parts that they want to look really good. Make the buildings attractive to visitors who will spend coin and rate your village.
Economy: Very deep economy requiring users to learn and deploy villager jobs, resource pipelines, production chains, and agricultural processes to ensure that their villagers are warm, fed, and happy. Earn gold by selling to and entertaining visitors to your village, creating a trade hub for people in the region and enticing interesting and lucrative travelers to your village. Exponential complexity growth with more villagers in the game.
Villagers: Immersive villager simulation with leveling, gear, and a deep morale system, requiring the player to constantly be upgrading their villagers homes, communal buildings, and production capabilities to satisfy their villagers needs. Recruit higher tier, rare villagers who can craft new things, perform new jobs, and be more efficient in entertaining or tending to your citizens. Plan for their upkeep needs and keep them happy so they work at peak efficiency.
Intuitive Combat: Simple and intuitive combat system that emphasizes recruiting, outfitting, and training guardsmen. Setup guard posts, defensive walls, garrisons, patrol paths, and more to ward against raids, sneak thieves, murderers, and troublemakers. Prepare to defend against enemy armies in case diplomacy goes south!
