About Nightfall of the Dead

Nightfall of the Dead - about the game

Witness the fall of a city ravaged by an unknown viral epidemic that has brought the dead back to life. But the zombies will be the least of your problems in this frantic and terrifying adventure.

With moments of pure horror blended with adrenaline-pumping action and occasional touches of comedy, enjoy a game that captures the essence of 2000s horror and action films, featuring a deep and impactful story that will keep you hooked from beginning to end.

                                                                       Meet the Characters:

Albert Lynch

The great heir to a true maritime empire.

The Lynch family leads the maritime trade industry, and by tradition, the eldest son always inherits the family business. However, Albert is an only child and has never shown any interest in following that path. Upon coming of age, he decided to build a new life away from his parents. He moved to the Lotus Palace condominium and founded the band Shooting Stars.

Jenny Foley

A waitress at Brandy's Bar and Albert's childhood friend.

She’s always had a bit of a crush on him, but he never noticed.

Justin Clay

Guitarist for the band Shooting Stars and Albert's childhood friend — almost like an older brother to him.

Alex Pellegrino

Drummer for the band Shooting Stars and Albert's childhood friend.

He mysteriously disappeared one morning, shortly before the dead began to rise.

Bryce Pellegrino

Bassist for the band Shooting Stars and Albert's childhood friend.

After noticing the disappearance of his younger brother, Bryce began scouring the city in search of him.

                                                                           Plot:

One beautiful morning, Lotus City awoke to find the waters of its little lake tinged purple.

People were mesmerized, believing it to be some kind of exotic phenomenon. However, a few weeks later, residents began showing flu-like symptoms. What initially seemed mild quickly escalated into a severe condition, leading many to be hospitalized. Within just three or four days, all those infected had died.

Given the situation, the United States government decided to isolate Lotus City from the rest of the country, sending army troops to seal off the city’s borders. No one was allowed to enter or leave until the epidemic was under control.

The residents who hadn’t fallen ill continued their lives as usual—until those who had died from the mysterious flu began to come back to life. But they weren’t exactly alive as before. For some unknown reason, the dead only appeared at nightfall.

Unable to leave the city, the inhabitants of Lotus City were forced to adapt to the new reality, trying to survive the dead who roamed the streets every night.

Amidst it all, Albert searches for Alex, his missing friend, while trying to survive the dead that attack at nightfall. But the dead will be the least of his problems.

Main Characteristics:
  • Relive the atmosphere of the 2000s – Nightfall of the Dead offers an immersive experience that brings back the defining elements of the greatest action and horror movies and games of that era. From the adrenaline of intense combat scenes to the detailed environments, plus timely touches of humor.

  • Classic horror gameplay returns – the single-player campaign experience will have players exploring a variety of locations, from dark and confined spaces to forests and a city teeming with dangers. With limited ammunition and weapons, fight against both human enemies and infected creatures lurking around every corner.

  • Three Campaign Modes – In addition to the main campaign featuring Albert Lynch, the game includes two more incredible campaigns. Yoko Chizuko, a professional photographer, and Kenneth Wilkins, a security guard at Lotus City mall, star in the secondary campaign, which explores events parallel to Albert’s journey and answers some questions from the main campaign. The third campaign delves into the tragic past of the Butler family. Discover the sad story and traumas that led Zach Butler to become the fearsome Boss Albert faces at the Hydroelectric Plant.

  • Raid Mode – An extra game mode featuring addictive fast-paced action combat. With a fantastic roster of characters from the Nightfall of the Dead series and other upcoming Benetnasch titles, choose your character and take on quick, thrilling matches, facing a wide variety of enemies across countless settings.

  • Mini Games and Gallery – The Gallery Mode collects the extra content unlocked throughout the game, such as Mini Games—short games that can be played anytime in this mode—as well as the soundtrack, videos, and photos.
