《明星志願2000》是一款模擬戀愛養成遊戲。主角的樂團因為專輯始終沒有很賣座的表現，而遭到唱片公司解散。雖然樂團遭到瓦解的命運，但是主角並不因此而退出演藝圈，反而立志闖出自己的一片天。

遊戲特色

遊戲時間設定為三年，在遊戲前期，由於能力的關係，主角只能待在民歌餐廳裏演唱打工。但是隨着經驗的累計，打工的項目會慢慢增加，通往明星的道路也越來越好走了。
除了各種打工項目外，累積了一定人氣後，還可以接取通告。遊戲中包含五花八門的通告將近1000個，類型分為唱片、電視、電電影、寫真集、廣告五大類。此外，在主角符合某些條件後，還會有專上門邀請的特殊通告出現。例如：愛心遊園會、選舉助選、服裝代言人……等。


事業：體驗不同的演藝生涯
依照玩家三年來的努力方向、工作性質、自我培養來做判斷。可以區分為「演技」、「歌唱」、 「主持」、 「商場經營」、 「圈外人士」五大類，共36種結局。


友情：紛紛擾擾的演藝圈
除了發展自己的演藝事業之外，主角還可以幫遊戲中的角色解決一些生活上或是工作上的難題。像是排解感情糾紛，尋找失傳的寶物或是打聽隱退多年的老演員的消息等。當主角解決這些問題之後，可以相關屬性，甚至是得到一些無法買到的物品。

愛情：甜蜜浪漫的戀愛旅程
遊戲中玩家會有追求9位美女的機會，每個女生的追求難度都不一樣，有幾個相當有難度呦！


挑戰王牌經紀人
在遊戲中，當主角的事業達到一定的成就之後，將有機會選擇是否成為藝人方若綺的經紀人。成為經紀人之後，主角也可以選擇經紀人和演藝事業兩者兼顧，或成為一個專業的經紀人。
