神奈川県澄空市────。
秋は深まり、枯葉が道を彩っている。
｢塚本志雄」は、幼なじみの「遠峯りりす」と歩く通学路でしみじみと思い起こしていた。
後から付いてくる感じだった幼い頃のりりす。
しかし、数年の間を経て再会したりりすは随分と我侭になっていた。
そして、志雄はいつしか下僕のような扱いに……。
その日、同級生の「箱崎智紗」をりりすに紹介される。
地味だった智紗は、大胆にイメージチェンジをしていた。
｢今度の後夜祭……一緒に踊ってもらえませんか？」
それは告白と同義だ。
戸惑う志雄。複雑な表情を見せるりりす。
