About Major Party Racing

Major Party Racing - about the game

IMPORTANT: This is a party racing game, but without active driving. Each pilot configures their race vehicle once, but doesn't control it during the race. A party is about spending time with friends, not getting lost in a screen. Our game enhances the fun—it doesn’t steal it.

---

It’s early access, but fully playable—five pilots, idle/lazy gameplay, a fresh take on the genre! Before playing, grab some paper cards and a marker, pen, or pencil—it’s part of the fun!

How It Works:

Get ready for a party-packed racing experience! You and your friends split into two squads—racers and support teams. But here's the twist: support teams aren’t locked to a specific driver.

Racers customize their vehicles and fine-tune their driving style.
Support teams strategize—who’s their pick, and what’s the next big vibe for the party. They place their big goal on the chosen driver—what happens if their pilot wins. Someone’s eyeing pizza, another’s calling for the jacuzzi, maybe a dance-off, or even a hilarious video challenge.

For now, write your goals on paper, because the in-game feature is coming soon (but let’s be real—paper makes it more fun anyway).

Big Goals & Mini Goals:

  • Your big goal is what you want by the end of the race.

  • Your mini goal happens when someone sets the fastest lap (after the first five laps). Once the signal sounds, it’s go time—jump, clap, bust out a crazy dance move, snap a bizarre photo—the possibilities are endless!

Then—Race Begins! Hit Start, and let the chaos unfold. The winner gets crowned… and then the game suggests you LEAVE. No endless screen-staring—this is designed to keep the party rolling!

Players set up their vehicles before the race, choosing from 5×5×5×5×5 different customization options (more than 3000 total!), leading to completely unique behavior. If we had traditional tracks, the races would lose their high-speed excitement (or zoomed out.. so not suitable for parties). Instead, we use checkpoints, similar to real-life rally raids and drone racing, where the route isn’t fixed but depends on the capabilities of the vehicle. This approach makes the game more dynamic, unpredictable, and fun!

Difference between free and full version of the game?

Current difference is customization: free version has only 1 mode without race customization options (still playable in most cases, vehicles are customizable).

In full version you can customize race (length, type - 'classic'/balanced and 'rusty engines'/fun), type of vehicles (5 different types right now vs 1 in free) + 5*5*5*5*5 'tuning options' (5x5x5x5x5 = 3125).
