Hold My Hand (Or Let Go) is a linear Visual Novel about unrequited love, envy, friendship and forgiveness. Experience the story of Charlie, a completely normal Swedish college student thatās graduating next week. But before he does that, he has to say goodbye to all the friends that he made during his three years in town.
Thatās easier said than done though, since heās still unhappily in love with his best friend Elvira. In order to keep their friendship from spiraling into chaos they decided to establish three different ground rules. But will they manage to keep all the rules and keep their feelings under control during the last night together with each other?
Charlie also has a Japanese friend called Toshihiro, who owns a bar in the town. Maybe thereās a chance for Charlie to take Elvira to this bar and introduce her to Toshihiro. But how did Toshihiro end up in Sweden? And why has he been so quiet about his past?
The last friend that Charlie has to say goodbye to is Benjamin, who heās known all the way back since he moved to the town to study.
