Choose Your Path
In the world of "Glowing Lamps", there is no single correct way to achieve your goal. Act stealthily, use force, or utilize social skills – it’s up to you.
Action – eliminate enemies loudly in a fist fight, use the environment to create chaos.
Stealth – quietly take enemies down, distract them with a thrown bottle, peek or eavesdrop on plot information.
Dialogues and Quests – talk to characters and unlock power-ups, shortcuts or vital plot info by completing their tasks.
Explore and Use the Environment
Explore expansive, content-rich, interconnected, sandbox-like levels where you can:
Blow up propane canisters and have fun with explosives.
Throw bottles to distract or knock out an opponent.
Enter rooms through ventilation shafts.
Move along wires using a grappling hook.
Hide bodies in trash bins and cabinets or hide yourself.
Create smoke screens for camouflage.
Freeze opponents with a fire extinguisher, then throw it at them.
Read notes filled with lore or useful information (totally optional, of course).
Gain abilities from eating bars, including time slowing and berserker strength.
Win a game of backgammon because why not?
Living World
Your actions have consequences. Beat up those who pay for protection? Be prepared for local bandits to arrange a "meeting" for you.
The world operates by real rules. Any NPC can be attacked. The money you pay can be found in the seller's wallet. Anything that can be bought can also be stolen.
Setting
The action takes place in alternative 1990s in City N. You play as Anton, a leading engineer of rods energy technology – a unique technology experiencing a revival after a period of decline.
Among Soviet panel buildings of City N, gopniks and gangs call the shots on the streets. Here, everyone tries to survive by their own rules.
