玩家在《富甲天下三》將化身三國時代的主公，帶著少量的資金、士兵及將領，開始四處經商縱橫賭場向錢衝、設法籌措資金佔領城池，努力建設各種設施提升稅收及擴張領地，一邊募集人才、招兵買馬，成為三國時代的霸主。《富甲天下三》以大富翁擲骰前進的方式結合經營城池的策略性玩法，加入了單挑、野戰或攻城三種戰鬥方式，來取決是否支付過路費給對手，買賣貨物賺取利潤及建設城池等豐富的遊戲元素，絕對能讓喜愛三國的玩家們大呼過癮！！

兩種遊戲模式
「一統天下」模式按照歷史編寫的長劇情，玩家可扮演愛耍心機的曹操、投機取巧的孫權或者嗜哭成性的劉備來進行遊戲，由第一關「黃巾之亂」起，重現經典歷史橋段與一百多個突發事件，三位主公各有不同的劇情及關卡！
「群雄並起」模式可自訂勝利條件及參戰人數，玩家可自選十一位各具特色的主公，還能自定勝利條件，例如消滅其他對手、佔領某一州內所有城池、限時比積分等多種選擇！
