The most important about the game is the way you use followers. You can equip them with gear, weapons or different tools such as axes and hammers for woodchopping and building, as well as a pickaxe to mine ores. They can also go out and harvest resources such as food and flax for creating cloth materials.
You can hire followers to help you build structures. They will gather wood or stone to build different structures.
Crafting and workbenches: When you want to craft an item workers will automatically find any available crafting task and assist you in crafting any item you choose, if they have the materials for it.
Followers can go and hunt for you if you give them bows or they can farm crops if you equip them with a farming hoe.
You can bring them to combat and they will help you fight enemies.
The game focuses on having a modular building system where you can build houses as you wish, as well as having predefined buildings like worker housing to make your workers rest between working. As well as lumberjack stations and mining stations for more effiecent gathering.
