The climate here is genuinely alive. Seasonal winds and monsoons carry moisture — windward coasts drown in rain while deserts sprawl in the rain shadow behind the mountains. Ocean currents warm some shores and freeze others. Reroute a current and a blooming coast turns to tundra, its people fleeing the advancing cold.
