Gameplay includes:
- Managing the gatehouse: Talking with folk, opening the gate, inspecting trading wagons, and maintaining fire.
- Interacting with townsfolk and balancing decisions.
- Patrolling around town and scouting from the watchtower. While outside, you'll have to be on high alert and ready to run for a safe spot if you encounter danger.
Events in this game occur before Dreadwoods Gatekeeper, but it does not matter whether you play it before or after that game.
