When you wake up in a world overrun by zombies and incomprehensible creatures that seem to have been thrown together in this bizarre place, the only thing you can do is survive. Scavenge for resources, work with other players who could be your allies or enemies, and face unpredictable environments with each boundary you cross. You'll have to adapt quickly, whether it's a city, a forest, or something even stranger. But remember, the zombies won’t stop hunting you down until you kill them or they kill you.
Explore
Venture into a diverse and complex world where each environment is distinct and disconnected. As you cross boundaries—like a wall—you’ll find yourself in an entirely different world, whether it’s a dense forest beyond a cityscape or a surreal transition. Your task is to gather resources, build shelters, and survive in this unpredictable landscape, all while dealing with other players who could be either allies or foes. Band together to face terrifying obstacles, such as relentless zombies that will hunt you down without rest until you’re dead.
Survive
Survive everything that can kill you—from ravenous hordes of zombies to dehydration, starvation, and other players who could be either allies or enemies. Your goal is to make it past the towering wall to whatever lies on the other side, with no idea of what awaits you. All you can do is wonder where this world you’re trapped in really is.
Loot
You must gather resources to craft equipment and weapons from items found in the world. The lootable items vary depending on the location you explore, such as buildings, city centers, farms, or even the vast, empty desert. You may also venture into quarantine zones sealed off by towering red tarp walls (Red Wall).
Customize weapons
You can customize your firearms, with each modification affecting the weapon's performance and influencing your playstyle.
Craft
Players can craft a variety of items, some of which can be crafted directly by the player and others at a workbench. This system also includes cooking, which is considered a form of crafting. Additionally, there is a Fast Crafting system where certain items can be crafted using hotkeys.
Reward
Eliminating the infected will earn you points, which can be exchanged for tickets. These tickets serve as the primary currency for purchasing items within the safe zone.
Trade
Trade with NPCs who accept tickets in exchange for food, medicine, equipment, and weapons. Use your tickets to acquire essential supplies from various shops within the safe zone. Additionally, there are exchange terminals outside the safe zone where you can obtain basic survival gear by trading scrap.
Build
Build your base using easily obtainable materials like wood, which you can gather by chopping trees with a stone axe. Strengthen your base to withstand attacks from both other players and the infected, who can cause significant damage to your structures.
Block off climbable areas from the infected using wooden shields or any objects you can place as barriers. This will help prevent the infected and other players from breaching your defenses and attacking you.
Furniture enhances the aesthetic appeal of your home and can be crafted using easily obtainable materials. Each piece of furniture serves a unique function, offering different benefits depending on its design and purpose.
DON'T SHOOT!
If you spot a vehicle marked with red spray paint, stay away—it’s a sound trap. The moment these cars take even the slightest damage, their anti-theft alarms will activate, drawing the infected to your location. Being near them when that happens is definitely not a good idea.
Trap
Be cautious of barricades with barbed wire, as they will inflict damage if you get too close.
Take advantage of the traps available in each location, such as electric traps powered by batteries. When activated, these traps release an electric current that damages both the infected and any players standing on them.
Place traps crafted from scrap metal, rope, or even broken glass to gain an advantage and protect yourself from both the infected and other players. However, be careful—these traps can also backfire and injure you if you accidentally step on them.
