Welcome to Atlas Technology
In Code: Loopbreaker, you play as Ethan Brooks, a low-level IT support technician at Atlas Technology — a tech company with more ambition than regard for public holidays. It's early, you're hungover, and your department supervisor wakes you up with an urgent call: one of the office computers is malfunctioning, and they need you to check it out now.
You head to the empty building expecting a quick, uneventful fix. But everything changes when a sudden tremor shakes the facility and turns your routine task into a sci-fi nightmare. Doors lock, systems go unresponsive, and the environment begins to feel like a carefully designed trap.
What really happened?
Where does Ethan fit into all of this?
And the most unsettling question: Where exactly are you trapped… and why?
Logical Puzzles and Environmental Interaction
As you make your way through the offices and labs of Atlas Technology, you’ll encounter locked doors, encrypted codes, and secured terminals that test your observation skills and logical thinking.
Each room presents a different kind of challenge — from visual puzzles to deduction-based tasks involving notes, documents, or clues hidden in the environment. You’ll need to inspect a wide variety of objects and search for hints in unexpected places.
If you ever feel stuck, a hint system is available from the pause menu, offering guidance without giving the solution away.
️ Environmental Storytelling and Detailed Exploration
Code: Loopbreaker lets you uncover the story piece by piece. Every workstation, abandoned desk, or unread message on a terminal reveals something about the people working at Atlas Technology.
You’ll come to know several characters indirectly — piecing together fragments of their routines, conflicts, and responsibilities. While they may not be physically present, their presence is felt in every corner. The story unfolds through these traces, with the central mystery revolving around your own experience:
What happened to you?
Why are you trapped?
And is there a way to undo it?
