Chronicles of Fear is a series focused on making horror games without jumpscares and other cheap tricks to scare you.
Our main goal is to create a believable setting for horror by using real life stories rather than horror manuals to build a plot. With an interactive environment full of hidden details for the players to find.
Features:
It's a short game which will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete.
It's a 'walking simulator' genre but there's interacting with the environment and talking with characters.
Gameplay doesn't contain any jumpscares, and it's close to realism so it contains triggers like;
arachnophobia, family trauma, claustrophobia, scopophobia, cleithrophobia
Your neighbours are asking if you could take care of their son while they're out of town, great way to earn a few bucks. What's the worst thing that can happen on a night like this, right? Enjoy your easy money, while having snacks in front of TV, because that's the most fun activity in an empty house in the middle of nowhere. Make sure to lock the door though, just in case.
