Make a bridge collapse to prevent an army reinforcement, let a pillar fall off the head of your ennemis, let a bone fire explode to create devestating AOE damage… You can also use the power of the Calame to rewrite the story, and come back to a certain moment of the battle to fix your strategy if you realize you made the wrong choices.
But be careful, the power of the Calame can give you the upper hand during battles, but always comes with counterparts. So use this power wisely!
The use of the Calame are like two different faces of a coin. Use it wisely, perform actions to rebuild, or protect, and dive into the GOTTARAN side. Use it without any limitation, making building collapse and focusing on offensive spells, and you will follow the DEIMONARAN path.
Each side of the Calame will let you unlock specific and affiliated skills. All your actions, the skills you used, the side objectives you complete during battles, etc. all of this has an impact on your alignment and will have direct consequences on your character build and story endings.
Lead the rebellion at the head of 15 adventurers with unique abilities and personalities (Warrior, Bard, Thief, Mage...), and immerse yourself in battles as epic as they are tactical. Between battles, recount your exploits and transform reality to develop your powers, rewrite history and forge YOUR legend.
During your journey, engaging (and replaying) battles will grant you with experience points, items and ressources for crafting. As your character progresses, gain new levels, boost your stats, unlock new skills and evolve into new character archetypes. The way you will let your character evolve will have a direct impact on your playstyle and can create devastating synergies with the rest of your companions.
Between missions, take time to rest at the Camp, craft/upgrade up to 60 weapons and 45 armors (all unique in design and stats) and never hesitate to talk to your favourite item and magic merchants. By discussion to your fellow companions, learn about their stories, tie bonds with them and discover their secrets.
