Bean Sidhe (banshee) is a narrative journey through death and heritage. Meet your ancestors through their memories of personal and collective resistance to systems of power, starting in prehistoric Ireland and culminating in a reunion with lost loved ones. Over the course of your journey, you will learn about yourself and the powerful legacy of compassion you built in life.
Bean Sidhe is a narrative walking sim. Your experience will consist primarily of exploring a series of cemeteries and listening to stories as you interact with gravestones and those interred beneath them. There are no puzzles, no combat, and the game saves after each level, so you may play at your own pace. After you've completed each section you are able to go back through the Memories menu and replay/read the dialogue you experienced in the game.
You can plan to spend 1-2 hours playing, depending on whether you prefer to wander at your leisure or go from story to story.
Death, conflict, resistance.
Content Warning for references to suicide and generational trauma.

Bean Sidhe is meant to be a story about hope and perseverance in the face of adversity. If payment is a hardship, please reach out.
100% of developer profits gained from this project will be going to a rotating series of local trans folks and Palestinian families in need. Where possible, money will be going directly to those that need it in order to avoid charity regulations and fees.
