THE LICH
In the second age dark sorcerers in the tower studied necromancy to raise the dead. These risen undead were bound to become slaves forever to the master of the tower. One of the immortal undead was called Sephiran, he was the son of a great wizard. Sephiran lived in the crypt section of the tower for many years studying dark magic. He became the first Lich Lord and his undead faction is known as the "Gravelords" among the ancient scepter order. He is the only undead to ever take a seat in the council of the order as an elder mage. He is the warlock that wrote the old scroll all those years ago about the tower that ended up in the royal library in Stormholme. He is among the legends of magic, the statues of ancient sorcerers, the founders of the order that are lined up outside of the temple gates, serving as reminders of the past.
THE NECROMANCER
Sephiran had many talented followers by his side. His most trusted servant was a necromancer by the name of Arthur Lothrax that lived in the tower during the first age. Before joining forces with the lich lord Arthur was a court wizard to the bandit king Paolos in the eastern territories. He assisted his lord to win many battles by summoning armies of countless risen undead and skeletons.
