Located in Chiba Prefecture, Narita International Airport(NRT/RJAA) is Japan’s largest international airport. As a destination of many of the world’s airlines, it proudly serves a large number of both passenger and cargo aircraft. It is also Japan’s only airport with ramp control for apron areas. Operations at this busy airport are controlled through the combined efforts of the nation’s air traffic controllers and Narita’s own ramp controllers.

Because the airport covers a vast area, it can take considerable time to get around depending on which terminal or runway an airline uses.
