Make yourself at home beneath the surface. Swim through coral gardens, meet other fish and communicate with calls and floating hearts. Collect food, trade playful water shots or simply take in the scenery. There’s room for curiosity, mischief and quiet moments.
Hear the hidden life of the ocean
Real underwater recordings meet electronic music, spatial sound and Chinese poetry. The crackle of reefs and the calls of whales become part of a musical world inspired by the creatures that live, communicate and survive beneath the waves.
Explore a world that moves with music
Underwater’s distinctive landscapes are formed from shimmering clouds of coloured points. Coral pulses, shapes dissolve and marine life takes on dreamlike forms as the environment responds to sound. Swim closer, change your perspective and watch the familiar become strange.
Be there when it happens
Join scheduled live performances by electronic musician An-Ting and digital artist Ian Gallagher. Swim alongside other audience members as the artists guide the music and visuals in real time, connecting players at home with the audience at the venue.
Come for a swim. Stay for the music.
