Everis is a multiplayer procedural sandbox game where players build a single shared world
Explore an infinite procedural world, go on adventures, meet other players, complete quests, and travel across landscapes created by the community.
But Everis is more than a world to explore : it’s a world to build.
Players can switch to creative mode, design structures, landscapes, dungeons, or entire cities, and submit their creations to the community. Through a voting system, the most loved creations are integrated into the shared world for everyone.

Explore a world shaped by players
Everis is first and foremost a world to explore.
Travel across vast procedural landscapes, discover places created by the community, and embark on adventures alone or with friends. Along the way, you may encounter hidden locations, player-designed dungeons, quests, or entire cities built by other explorers.
Meet other players, form groups, and set out on journeys together. Customize your character, improve your abilities, fight enemies, collect resources, loot equipment, and trade with other players. Through exploration, combat, and discovery, players gradually grow stronger while carving their own path through a rich and ever-changing world.
Every horizon in Everis has a story behind it, because someone in the community imagined it.
The Alternate World
Beyond the shared world shaped by players lies something darker. For every landscape created in Everis, there exists a mirrored version, an alternate world consumed by shadows.
This is not a different map, but a distorted reflection of the same world. Familiar places become hostile. In this dark version, powerful enemies roam freely, far more dangerous than anything found in the main world.
Players will need courage, skill, and strong teamwork to venture into this extreme PvE experience. Every decision matters. Every encounter is a risk.
But with greater danger comes greater reward. This alternate world follows an extraction-based gameplay loop: players enter, explore, gather valuable loot… and must find a way to escape with it.
Build the world together
At any time, players can switch to creative mode and start shaping the world themselves.
Build a small cabin deep in the forest. Design a dungeon. Create a city. Sculpt mountains, valleys, or entirely new landscapes. Work alone, or collaborate with friends to bring larger ideas to life.
Once finished, your creation can be submitted to the community hub, where players discover new proposals, vote for their favorites, and share their own ideas.
At the end of each voting phase, the most appreciated creations are integrated into the shared world, allowing the universe of Everis to evolve organically through the imagination of its players.
Over time, the world grows. Not shaped by developers, but by the community itself.
How does it work?
The creative system allows players to modify a defined area of blocks, ranging from very small creations to much larger zones.
Small creations, such as a hidden object, a small structure, or a decorative element, usually have little impact on the surrounding world and may require fewer votes to be accepted. Larger creations, however, can influence a wider part of the world and potentially overlap with other proposals. Because of this, they require stronger community support to be approved and integrated.
After the Alpha phase, additional tools will expand these possibilities even further, allowing players to place items, NPCs, and logic-based elements such as doors and interactions. (See the Roadmap section for more details)
When players enter creative mode, they temporarily move into a separate instance of the area they are working on. This means they are no longer interacting with the live MMO world while building, allowing them to create freely and experiment in complete peace.
Once the creation is complete, it can be submitted to the community hub and voted on for integration into the shared world.
Everis is an ambitious project, and development will progress through several clear stages. Each phase focuses on validating core systems, expanding gameplay, and gradually opening the world to more players.
Phase 1 development has already begun, and core technical systems are currently being implemented.
Phase 1 - Alpha: Proving the Core Concept
The first milestone is the development of a playable Alpha version designed to prove that Everis works as intended.
This phase focuses on validating the core technical and gameplay foundations of the project.
During the Alpha, players will be able to:
• Explore the procedural voxel world in multiplayer
• Interact with other players through proximity voice and text chat
• Modify the world by placing and removing blocks (switching to creative mode)
• Create and submit constructions to the community hub
• Vote on community creations
• See the most voted creations integrated into the shared world
At this stage, Everis will focus on exploration and collaborative building. MMO-style features such as NPCs, quests, and advanced gameplay systems will not yet be included.
The Alpha will feature one biome (the one shown in the screenshots) and is mainly intended to validate the technical systems that make Everis possible.
Access to the Alpha will be limited. Selected players will be invited to participate in testing, for free.
Phase 2 - Beta: Expanding the World
Once the core systems are validated, Everis will move into Beta development.
During this stage, the game will evolve through regular updates. Each new version will focus on improving stability, fixing issues discovered during testing, and introducing new gameplay systems.
New biomes will progressively be added, encouraging players to explore further and generate new regions of the world.
Major gameplay systems will gradually be introduced during this phase, including:
• Character customization
• Level progression
• NPCs
• Quests
• Logic-based elements (doors, interactions, etc.)
• In-game currency
• Trading and player economy
• ...
The Beta phase will be available to the public as Early Access on Steam, allowing the community to actively participate in shaping the game as it grows.
Phase 3 - Version 1.0 Release
The final goal is the full release of Everis (Version 1.0).
This version will include the complete feature set presented in this Kickstarter campaign, bringing together exploration, player-driven world building, community integration systems, and the full MMO-inspired gameplay experience.
By this stage, Everis will have grown into a living world shaped by its players.
