In DropCell, clearing a line is only the start of the move.
When a line clears, the blocks above it fall into the gaps. If they land in new lines, those clear too, and the blocks above them fall again.
One well-placed piece can set off a chain that runs all the way down the board, and each link scores more than the one before. The game is about building those chains and reading the board to set them up.
HOW IT PLAYS
Clear lines to start cascades. Every clear drops the board above it, and new lines clear on their own without another move.
Score comes from the cells you clear, multiplied by chain length, combos, and hard drops. The longer the chain, the higher the score.
Carve gaps on purpose so one piece collapses several lines at once. The further you plan ahead, the bigger the chain.
Plan your placements with a three-piece preview, a hold slot, a landing shadow, and a lock delay that gives you time to adjust.
React according to block shapes: 3-cell or 5-cell.
Blocks come in two flavors: glued and segmented. Glued ones are stationary after a clear, while segmented ones have their cells falling - enabling more combos.
Beware of rising rows: more difficult levels will raise rows from time to time, making the pressure go up, but allowing for more scoring as well.
