About VaultFlow

VaultFlow - about the game

VaultFlow is an indie casual first-person parkour runner for PC built around nonstop forward momentum. Players race across rooftops, steel beams, and catwalks high above a park in a dark industrial city. The course assembles itself piece by piece during each run, and the only goal is to push the distance as far as possible before the collapsing city catches up.

Gameplay

The core loop centers on chaining precise movements while the environment reacts in real time. Sprinting forms the base, but players must slide, wall-jump, kick off surfaces, duck through crawlspaces, and time landings to maintain speed. Every surface produces distinct audio feedback, from concrete and steel to metal grating and rubber, which helps players read the course without breaking rhythm.

The course itself stays alive. Steam vents launch runners upward, conveyor belts shove them off line, and cracked platforms give way moments after contact. More than fifty section types exist, including gaps, climbs, drops, and split paths that offer a risky shortcut or a safer detour. These pieces combine procedurally, so each attempt feels fresh even after repeated plays.

Pressure increases steadily. The city collapses from behind and accelerates the farther a player travels. Hesitation leads to immediate failure. Fixed-rate physics keep every jump consistent across different monitors, which makes personal bests and records directly comparable.

Game Modes

Daily Challenge generates one shared course each day for every player worldwide, complete with its own leaderboard. Ghost Race lets runners replay their best performance and race directly against their own recorded ghost on the identical layout. Global and friends leaderboards track all-time best distances as well as daily results. Eighteen Steam Achievements reward mastery of specific movement chains and survival milestones.

The Changing City

Visual and environmental shifts mark progress through longer runs. Early sections unfold under cold dusk haze. Further stretches move into sodium-lit night, then into heavy storm conditions with fog and lightning illuminating the skyline. These changes alter visibility and atmosphere without changing the fundamental movement rules.

Is It Worth Playing?

VaultFlow suits players who enjoy skill-focused endless runners that reward clean execution over power-ups or combat. The combination of procedural sections, reactive hazards, and direct competition through daily challenges and ghost races creates a loop that stays engaging across many attempts. Fixed physics and surface-specific audio add consistency and feedback that dedicated runners will appreciate. Those looking for a straightforward test of timing and flow on PC will find the experience matches its description closely.
