The Terrible Old Man - about the game

Three men of questionable morals sip drinks in a tavern and catch wind of a wealthy, frail resident nearby. They hatch a scheme to seize his valuables in this compact free to play adventure. Players navigate a traditional point and click interface amid unsettling hand drawn graphics, animation, and fully animated cut scenes. This horror-tinged adaptation draws from H.P. Lovecraft's classic short story, rendered in 640 x 360 widescreen resolution. A quick Steam re-release polishes the original 2015 game jam creation with Steam achievements. Point and click fans who savor brief, atmospheric tales will find it hits the mark.

Three men of loose virtue are enjoying a drink in a local tavern, when they overhear the story of a rich and feeble old man who lives in town. They soon plot to take his treasures...

This is a very short (and free) interactive adaptation of The Terrible Old Man, a short story by H.P. Lovecraft. This adaptation was originally released back in 2015 - it was made in 30 days for the MAGS gamejam.
