Ruiwen Three Kingkoms: Speakers of the Realm is a PC adventure game centered on free-form dialogue and historical persuasion. Players step into the roles of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, and Jiang Wei across six specific scenes drawn from Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Every conversation choice influences four tracked metrics and determines one of multiple possible endings per scene.
Gameplay
The core loop revolves around typing responses in an input field while AI-controlled characters react in real time to the exact wording used. Four metrics track progress: Favorability, Suspicion, Brotherhood Resolve, and Persuasiveness. Responses that align with events in the source novel advance the scene, while creative or unexpected lines can open alternate paths. The game runs entirely on a local AI model, so all dialogue processing occurs offline without any data transmission.
One scene includes an exclusive action system that combines preset buttons with optional free-form actions entered in parentheses. Characters respond to both spoken words and performed actions. A global anti-abuse system encourages respectful phrasing as the reliable route to success. Each of the six scenarios contains between nine and twelve endings, ranging from standard outcomes to hidden variants and title-specific conclusions.
Game Modes
The game structures its content around six progressive scenarios that increase in complexity. Scene 1 places the player as Liu Bei during the Oath of the Peach Garden, where the goal is to recruit Guan Yu and Zhang Fei into a lifelong brotherhood. Scene 2 continues with Liu Bei on the Three Visits to the Cottage, requiring three attempts to secure Zhuge Liang's service for a larger unification plan.
Scene 3 shifts to Jiang Wei navigating rivalries between Zhong Hui and Deng Ai to preserve hope for the Shu-Han kingdom. Scene 4 returns to Liu Bei at the Green Plum Wine Banquet, where the task is to mask ambitions while under scrutiny from Cao Cao. Scene 5 casts the player as Zhuge Liang performing the Empty City Stratagem, using a qin performance and careful wording to mislead Sima Yi. Scene 6 concludes with Zhuge Liang traveling alone to Eastern Wu for the Debate with the Scholars, aiming to sway Sun Quan through superior argument.
Progression and Titles
Performance across the scenarios feeds into a six-dimensional rating system that awards one of ten main personality titles or one of eight defeat-themed titles. Examples include Master of Diversion, God of Persuasion, The Foolish Sage, and The Reckless Warrior. Even unsuccessful runs produce titles such as The Foolhardy Challenger or Time-Traveler, which encourage additional playthroughs to explore different rhetorical approaches and secret endings.
Is It Worth Playing?
This adventure suits players who enjoy narrative-driven experiences built around dialogue choices and historical settings. The local AI enables offline play with authentic reactions to typed input, and the variety of endings plus title system supports repeated sessions. Those seeking traditional combat or large-scale strategy will find the focus narrower, limited to persuasion mechanics within the listed scenes. The offline design and privacy emphasis make it accessible for single-player sessions without connectivity requirements.
