About Last Days of Tsufana

Last Days of Tsufana - about the game

Last Days of Tsufana is an indie RPG developed for PC that places players in the role of Falcon, one half of a pair of siblings determined to stop the sorcerer Valdisna. The story unfolds in the world of Tsufana, once a prosperous land shaped by the Lispens civilization under the guidance of the deity Myrtir. After Myrtir's departure, the Lispens faded, leaving behind ruins and a new threat: a curse that transforms many inhabitants into monstrous beasts while others simply vanish. Falcon and his sister travel through this crumbling landscape, confronting agents of the Quietus faction who serve both the goddess and the sorcerer.

Gameplay

Combat occurs through fast-paced turn-based encounters that avoid random battles. Players select actions for the party while enemy weaknesses appear only after the corresponding element or ability strikes them, remaining visible in future fights against the same foe. This system rewards observation and adaptation rather than repeated trial and error.

Central to progression is the Creta system. Characters equip up to four Creta items at once, each granting two to four linked abilities along with resistances to status ailments and elemental damage. Using any spell or ability in battle raises its level, which directly improves damage output or healing strength over time. Equipment choices further influence these effects, encouraging players to experiment with combinations that exploit enemy vulnerabilities or provide defensive edges.

Outside battle, the focus stays on exploration and narrative. The party moves through areas affected by the curse, gathering resources and Creta while advancing a lengthy main storyline. Status ailments play a tactical role in both offense and defense, with multiple viable approaches to each encounter instead of a single optimal path.

Game Modes

The experience centers on a single-player campaign. No separate multiplayer options or additional modes appear in available information. All content ties into the core narrative of confronting Valdisna, with combat and exploration serving that story rather than standalone challenges.

Story and Atmosphere

The title emphasizes character development and a dark, grim tone. Falcon and his sister drive the plot as they navigate the consequences of Valdisna's actions, encountering remnants of the old Lispens era and the forces of Quietus. An original soundtrack supports the atmosphere throughout the journey.

Playtime estimates reach 35 hours or more for a complete run, reflecting the depth of the narrative and the variety of equipment and Creta setups available. Keyboard and controller schemes support standard movement, menu navigation, and confirmation inputs, with an option to toggle between windowed and fullscreen modes.

Is It Worth Playing?

Players who prefer story-driven indie RPGs with strategic turn-based combat will find the systems here rewarding. The Creta equipping, ability leveling through use, and weakness revelation mechanics create consistent decision-making both in and out of battle. A free demo is available for those who want to test the combat and pacing before committing to the full release.

The game suits those comfortable with longer single-player campaigns that prioritize narrative and party customization over quick sessions or competitive elements. Tight encounter balancing and multiple paths to victory in fights stand out as strengths for fans of deliberate, thoughtful RPG gameplay.
