About Hidden Deal

Hidden Deal - about the game

Hidden Deal is a strategy indie simulation card game for PC focused on 2 to 4 player PvP matches. Players compete to collect complete sets of matching numbers while managing hidden hands and disrupting opponents through targeted attacks and special abilities. The core loop revolves around drawing from concealed or visible sources, executing precise strikes on exposed cards, and deploying unique effects from face cards to gain advantages.

Gameplay

Each turn begins with a draw choice between the hidden deck or the open market. The hidden deck delivers unknown cards that remain concealed from opponents, preserving secrecy in hand composition. The open market displays four visible cards for selection, offering certainty at the cost of transparency to all players. Once four cards are claimed from the market, fresh ones replace them immediately.

Attacks target only the leftmost card in an opponent's hand using a higher value card of the same suit. Both the attacking card and the defeated one move to the graveyard, removing them from active play. When the hidden deck empties, the graveyard shuffles back into it to sustain the match. Special cards expand tactical options during these exchanges.

Aces enable stealing any card from an opponent without regard to suit or rank. Kings allow hiding one of your own revealed cards. Queens expose a hidden card from an opponent's hand. Jokers serve as flexible substitutes for any value within their suit, accelerating set completion.

Game Modes

The game centers on direct PvP encounters for two to four participants. Matches emphasize repeated rounds of drawing, attacking, and special card usage until one player secures all four cards of any two numbers. No additional structured modes appear in the available details, keeping focus on this core competitive format.

Core Mechanics and Strategy

Success depends on balancing hidden information with calculated risks. Drawing from the hidden deck maintains uncertainty for rivals while requiring personal assessment of drawn values. Open market picks demand awareness of shared visibility and potential immediate counters. Attack positioning matters because only leftmost cards face threats, encouraging careful hand management and timely use of defensive specials like kings.

Graveyard recycling ensures ongoing card flow without permanent depletion. Players track suit and value distributions across visible and inferred hidden elements to predict and counter opponent progress toward dual number sets. The system rewards foresight in when to attack, steal, or reveal rather than raw aggression.

Is It Worth Playing?

Hidden Deal suits players seeking concise, repetitive card battles that reward quick decisions and opponent reading. Its straightforward rules and short session length align with expectations for a basic yet distinctive PvP experience. Those who enjoy hidden information mechanics, suit-based combat, and set collection in small groups will find consistent engagement through the interplay of draws, attacks, and special effects. The game remains available on PC with its described systems intact and no reported changes to core play.
