Welcome to Anakalys, an island seemingly born from the mists! You play as the Rookie Resarcher, a newbie looking to make their name as a researcher in the modern age of exploration. Dr. Cooper, a legend-turned-hermit researcher, discovered this mysterious island, and he wants YOU to research its inhabitants! In this single-player open-world exploration game, you'll journey the island yourself!Anakalys is home to a vibrant jungle environment, the perfect home for an exceptionally cute selection of animals to roam about. Meet the residents
On the island, you'll be tasked with photographing the EO's with your trusty camera! Take photos of the organisms doing their day-to-day routines such as eating, bathing, and socializing! Completing specific objectives will reward you with some money, which can be used to purchase player equipment! Additionally, the EO's will leave a number of valuable pick-up items around the island to help speed up your equipment funding. With equipment, you'll find that exploring the island will be a breeze!Get equipped
There are multiple upgrades available to help you maneuver around the island. With enough objectives completed, no place will be unreachable for the stalwart Rookie Researcher! For example, double-jump boots will definitely get you over some of those pesky floating platforms!Remember: it's not science if you don't write it down
Additionally, completing objectives will help fill out your research database, powered by the Advanced Data Terminal (aka the A.D.T)! Each step gets you closer to fully uncovering the mysterious life on the island, with three unique EO's to become acquainted with.What are ya waitin' for? Get to explorin'!
