Description:
Tetrarchon is a turn-based 1v1 strategy card battler that blends classical card mechanics with tactical area control. The board is not just a visual aid—it is the game. Controlling the terrain means controlling the game.
In-Combat Features:
Tactical Board Control: The board is a diamond-shaped web of interconnected zones where positioning dictates survival. Capture tactical Flank zones to cut off enemy supply lines and break the defensive bonuses of the four Elemental Thrones. The winner is determined by territorial control, not hit points.
Deterministic Combat: Combat relies entirely on strategy and use of unit abilities, not luck. There are no dice rolls or random damage ranges. Damage is threshold-based.
The Elemental Surge: A continuous rotation of elemental augmentations. The system requires strategic timing to utilize properly, granting specific bonuses and power to units that match the current active element.
Tactical Keywords: Utilize unit-specific traits like Ambush to strike first on Flanks, or deploy Siege units to crack heavily fortified Thrones.
Out of Combat Features:
Custom Deckbuilding: Construct and refine your own custom decks tailored to your specific strategic playstyle before deploying to the board.
PvE: Allows the player to play against a matching computer opponent.
1v1 Multiplayer: Test your crafted decks and tactical prowess against real opponents in competitive online multiplayer.
Extensive Tutorial Campaign: Learn the mechanics, unit stats, and board control flow through a fully guided, server-side PvE campaign against the AI. Master the geometry of movement, rapid expansion using Mercenaries, and the economy of Sacrifice.
