The Conjurers' War for an Ancestral Power spreads across the world of Vaghata, reigniting old alliances and rivalries, and affecting everyone鈥攂ut none more so than the innocent.
You will guide Kharys, an exiled half-elf warrior, as he travels through the kingdoms with a group of adventurers鈥攁ll of them Misfits. Together, they take on missions for those in need, searching for meaning in their lives that makes every battle they've endured worthwhile.
Your decisions will alter the narrative, leading them down easy or treacherous paths, forging new allies or enemies, and resolving situations through intense battles, diplomacy, or subterfuge.
Under the watchful eyes of unknown entities and their minions, who seek to manipulate reality in their struggle for control over the Universe.

Throughout his journey, Kharys will be joined by remarkable companions, each with their own stories, specialties, and unique skills. These allies will stand by his side in battle or help manage camp resources.
As relationships deepen, his companions can provide powerful buffs in combat and grant reputation bonuses for skill tests along the journey.
However, Kharys鈥檚 decisions and how he treats his companions can cause them to question their goals, defying his commands during combat and even leaving the group during the course of the story. As a leader, Kharys must resolve personal issues and internal conflicts within the party, which can drastically affect mission outcomes.
Even so, there will always be opportunities to meet new characters during missions and recruit them as needed.
