The Emulator PC

Play as Sean during a tense dinner at Sarah's house that turns into a desperate fight for survival against the Emulator, a foe lurking from the deep web on Halloween eve. Search rooms inside and outside the house for keys and items to unlock new areas, while staying alert for anything unusual. The Emulator hides in plain sight and surprises from unexpected corners, forcing quick runs and hides when danger strikes. This indie action game packs a house full of secrets, a distinctive enemy, and five endings with dedicated cutscenes, plus a one-hit challenge mode. Original music heightens the constant vigilance required. Survival fans who thrive on watchful exploration and sudden threats will keep coming back.

This experience was originally created in one week for Scream Jam 2018, in which it won Spook Award (Best Game) and Scare Award (Scariest Game). Since then new content as been added through a series of updates.

Story

When Sean's new girlfriend Sarah invites him over for dinner, the last thing he expects is a fight for his life. It's the night before Halloween and a new terror is about to be unleashed from the deep web.. The Emulator!

Play as Sean and try to find a way to survive or even defeat the Emulator; a creative enemy who can hide in plain site. Make use of keys and other various items that can be found in and out of the house to progress to new rooms and areas, all the while watching for anything that seems out of place. You'll never know what corner the Emulator may be lurking around, and even when you think you do he may find ways to surprise you. Stay vigilant, and when all goes red be sure to run and hide.
