Lines of Battle began as a passion project of one man who watched the 1970 film Waterloo hundreds of times, and wanted to distill that feeling into a game anyone could play. Since then, it has grown into a rich, detailed, and competitive wargame supported by a community of mapmakers, consultants, and artists, with the ambition to expand the system across all eras of human warfare.

Full 3D Graphics: The Sophie Games team has expanded to include professional designers to develop the vision to glorious 3D.
Operational Campaigns: Manage divisions and corps, strike at supply lines, and coordinate your grand army across Northern Italy, Central Europe, and the Russian steppe.
New eras: New units, mechanics, and systems for Medieval, Roman, Three Kingdoms, and other periods and settings are planned for development on the free 2D platform and expansion to full 3D release.聽
