Players cycle through them to jump, dash, and punch the ball, turning it their color to score on the opponent's goal while defending their own. Pickups spawn extra balls, warp physics, or alter ball types like bowling or beach balls for chaotic twists. Six arenas such as Beach, Gym, and Stadium shift in real time with unique atmospheres and music from The Brothers Nylon. Game modes include Classic goals, Basket shootouts, Volley net battles, and Pins knockdowns, plus customizable rules for victory conditions, ball sizes, and more. Local multiplayer thrives on the sofa with no lag, Remote Play Together enables online matches, and AI offers four difficulty levels for solo practice-perfect for casual action fans craving fast sportsball clashes.

Dudelings: Arcade Sportsball

"What if you crossed Pong with foosball?" That's the age-old question we set out to answer with Dudelings: Arcade Sportsball.

Along the bottom of the playfield are a series of neutral characters (let's call them "Dudelings"). Up to two players cycle through these Dudelings during a match, controlling one at a time. Dudelings under player control can jump, dash, and punch their way to victory.
Use your Dudeling to control the ball, defend your goal, and go on the offensive!

Arenas

There are six arenas in Dudelings (five standard and one unlockable). There's Beach, Gym, Streets, Infield, Stadium, and Destination. Each arena reacts in real time to events in the match, feature their own unique personality, an original musical composition by The Brothers Nylon, and a distinct atmosphere!

Game Modes

Dudelings offers multiple game modes to liven up the sportsball experience. Choose from:

• "Classic" mode where each team has a goal they must defend
  
• "Basket" mode where both teams compete to get the ball in one goal
  
• "Volley" mode where each team controls their side of the net
  
• "Pins" mode where each of your opponent's pins must be knocked down in order to score
  
  • New to "2nd Base"

Customizable Rules

Dudelings offers a variety of customizable rules that offer variability in match setups, including:

Balls

There's the normal ball, the bowling ball, the beach ball, and even a balloon. Each adds its own unique spin to the gameplay. No matter which you choose, though, your goal is simple: score points.\n\nWhen a player's Dudeling touches the ball, it turns their color allowing them to score on their opponent's goal.

Pickups

When a ball in your control hits a pickup, it's sure to liven up the arena! Pickups can spawn in extra balls, warp physics, and even change the ball type. Keep your eyes peeled as these power-up tokens can cause an upset.

Multiplayer

Taking cues from the games that inspired us as kids, Dudelings offers an excellent local multiplayer experience! You won't find any of the online-only anticheat malware shenanigans here. Nah dude. Two players. One TV. Head-to-head. On the sofa. Within punching distance of your opponent.

No lag, no ping, and no host getting an advantage.

With that said if you want to play with someone online, you can. This game was designed from the ground up to incorporate native Remote Play Together support.

Single Player

Dudelings offers a CPU versus mode with four distinct difficulty levels! These AI opponents are skilled and offer a unique challenge and opportunity to develop your skills!

With the release of 2nd Base, Dudelings now tracks player stats like career score, win/losses, favorite game type

To complement this handsome package, Dudelings features an original soundtrack created by veteran psychedelic rock/jazz group "The Brothers Nylon."
