To survive, you must carefully upgrade your ship to contend with increasing dangers as you descend. Defeating Biotes earns you Bloil that your ship converts into Engine Parts. These Engine Parts can be installed in your Engine Grid鈥攁n聽inventory management聽puzzle system.

Placement of聽Engine Parts聽is key. Each Engine Part interacts with the grid in unique ways, creating powerful synergies. This forces you to carefully consider where each new part is installed, and plan your build accordingly. Weapons also have their own upgrade trees, redefining how they function, adding another layer of depth to your build.
