Introduction
"Circle Shoot" is a top-down 2D shooter game. The biggest feature of this game is its unconventional control method, which may cause operational difficulties, but also brings new challenges and fun.
About levels
The game is designed with a total of 20 levels of normal difficulty and 10 levels of hard difficulty. Clearing one level unlocks two more levels. For example, if you clear Normal Level 1 or 2, Normal Levels 3 and 4 will be unlocked, and so on.
About Operation
Both a mouse and a keyboard are required.
A: moves clockwise
D: Move counterclockwise
W: is close to the center
S: is far away from the center
Move the mouse: The character will rotate and face the direction of the mouse cursor
Left mouse button: to fire the beam gun
Right mouse button: to launch a beam cannon
ESC: is available during combat, and the game will pause
If you continuously move clockwise or counterclockwise for a period of time (by holding down A or D), you can perform melee attacks. At the same time, the front of the character can block certain attacks
Regarding weapons
Three types of weapons are provided, namely, beam guns, beam cannons, and melee attacks.
Beam gun: The primary weapon, with fast reloading and moderate damage. Press the left mouse button to fire, and bullets will be shot in the direction the character is currently facing. It cannot be fired while reloading
聽 聽 The beam cannon is the weapon with the highest damage. To use it, three conditions must be met:
聽 聽 1. Filling completed
聽 聽 2. The orientation of the character is consistent with the emission direction
聽 聽 3. The character cannot be in a moving state
聽 聽 During the launch process of the beam cannon, the character will have a time for aiming and charging. During this period, the character cannot move or turn, making them vulnerable to enemy attacks. After this period, the beam cannon is launched, and the character regains the ability to move and turn. This is a high-risk, high-reward weapon.
Melee Attack: After the character moves clockwise or counterclockwise for a certain period of time, an attack range will appear in front of the character. Enemies entering this range will receive damage. The damage of melee attack falls between that of the beam gun and the beam cannon, but is closer to the beam cannon. The melee weapon is a unique weapon with the following characteristics:
聽 聽 1. Using melee weapons requires maintaining movement in the same direction (either clockwise or counterclockwise, and the character can approach or move away from the center during movement). If the character stops moving or changes the direction of movement, the melee weapon will become ineffective
聽 聽 2. Close-range weapons can block ordinary bullets and tracking missiles launched by the enemy
聽 聽 3. There is collision damage in the game, but if you first attack the enemy with a melee weapon, the enemy's collision damage will disappear for a certain period of time. When attacking with a melee weapon, be sure to pay attention to the direction of your character to ensure that the melee weapon contacts the enemy first
