Arsenic & Absinthe is a blend of a chill bartender simulation with a narrative-driven noir but colorful fantasy story set in the 1950s vibe featuring fabled characters with a point-and-click system but also full of dark humor about working life and the suffering of the working class trying to be successful before they age 30 released in the 2025 April Fool's Day.
Story
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell me...where is a secret recipe that’ll make me the most successful person of them all?"
Sylene Blackqueen, a broke bartender barely making it from dusk till dawn, suddenly finds herself threatened into handing over her bar’s secret recipe, watching her dreams go poof right before her eyes. Dreams of becoming a success story just like “Snow White.”
But misfortune has a funny way of wearing opportunity’s clothes.
Rumor has it, the Secret Recipe of Success, a recipe said to fix every problem in life, is within her grasp. All she needs to do is hunt it down, crush her business rivals, and maybe ruin a few innocent lives along the way.
Of course, no sane person would actually wreck someone’s life for the sake of wealth.

The player takes on the role of "Sylene", a bartender who recently began a new life, making drinks, serving unusual recipes of art, and listening to the stories of working-class customers. A simple life, however, is merely a dream for her as her haunted past returns. The player has to explore the night city and solve the pre-midlife crisis while getting caught in the notorious "Snow White" murder case once more.
