As a ghost hunter, your mission is to identify what type of entity is haunting the area, complete dangerous objectives, and ultimately banish the spirit once and for all. Every investigation requires cooperation and careful use of equipment. EMF readers, Spirit Boxes, thermal cameras, Crucifixes, and Holy Water can all be the difference between life and death. After the team agrees on their conclusion, additional objectives appear, offering a chance for extra cash and experience, if you dare to stay longer. Completing every task allows the hunters to perform a final banishment ritual, freeing the location from its curse.
Survival depends on teamwork. Stay close to your allies, keep your sanity high, and use medicine when needed. When the ghost begins its hunt, hide if possible, or use crucifixes to fight back. Being alone is dangerous, especially when your mind begins to slip.
As the ghost, your single goal is simple, eliminate every intruder who dares to enter your place. Build up your manifestation energy to unleash terrifying interactions, trigger jump scares, and drain the hunters’ sanity before you strike. Each ghost type has a unique ability, either passive or active, allowing you to deceive, trap, or harm your victims. But be careful, overusing your powers might expose what kind of ghost you are to experienced hunters. Choose your moments wisely.
You can roam the map invisibly, listening to the hunters voices as they nervously communicate, throwing objects, setting traps, or causing eerie disturbances to drive them insane. Everything you do as the ghost lowers their sanity and brings them closer to panic, confusion, and death.
