Allrest Inn is a cosy simulation game set in the fantasy realm of Eorsza. You play as the up-and-coming proprietor of the eponymous tavern, learning skills from and working alongside the inn's other two longstanding employees.
As adventurers and other guests come to stay at the inn, you'll learn about their histories, quirks, meals and what business brings them to the area. Building your rapport with adventurers and learning more about what's going on in the wider world will unlock the ability to refer an adventurer to a quest or job you've heard about, the outcome of which may change depending on the traits and disposition of the adventurer you refer. As you serve up fresh bread and preserves, steaming bowls of soup and dumplings, and family recipe desserts, you'll witness how food can bridge gaps, bring people together and quietly shape the world.
With simple mechanics and a diverse cast of characters, Allrest Inn offers a unique perspective on adventure fantasy that celebrates the comforting power of food and the connections forged in service to others.
You will be in charge of running the Inn's day to day business. Welcome guests in and assign them a room, take their horse to the stable and ensure it's well cared for. Find out their favourite meal, so that you can serve it for dinner.
Spend time caring for the garden so that you always have the freshest ingredients available.
As well as looking after the guests, you will be able to harvest olives from the orchard, and monitor the compost for fertiliser to keep your garden growing green!
But you won't have to do this all alone, you'll have help from your staff!
You will have two main helpers that you can assign different tasks during the day to help you keep on top of things.
Roweley is often relegated to the jobs requiring muscles around the Inn. Carrying freshwater up from the creek? Roweley. Mucking out the stables? Roweley. Does he ever complain? Of course, but he just looks so good doing it.
Naviya is your expert in the kitchen, she's been working in this business longer than you've been alive, and she's happy to teach you a secret recipe or two as long as you promise not to burn the Inn down.聽
Who's going to be staying at the Inn? That's right, the realm's filled with adventurers out trying to earn their coin with a swing of a sword, and oft they appear at your door looking for a warm bed, and a rumour to send them onto their next journey. These friendly faces will pop in and out often for you to keep company as they await the writing of their next epic tale.
It rhymes with Handsome for a reason. He's been everywhere and seen everything, and now it's time for a slower change of pace. Being an adventurer is still the job, but maybe he's finally looking for a quiet place to retire with a certain someone.
Looking over the front desk at Eireen you're unsure if you should check her into one room, or if she needs a second for that huge axe! She's hot-tempered and ready to fight to keep our lands safe, and maybe if she wasn't so scattered, she'd do a better job of it.
