Sprydite is an action-adventure, survival with immersive RPG elements in a large open world. Science fiction set in a post-apocalyptic and cyberpunk backwoods setting with a small touch of surrealism.
The player will be able to immerse himself in the exploration of the world with a non-linear narrative, the ability to make choices and influence the environment, to play one or another role depending on his preferences and views.
World Story
In the game world, in 2029, a catastrophic event occurred when there was a malfunction of experimental quantum engines on the private space stations "Robinson" and "Rascvet-2". "Robinson" fell from orbit and crashed on the territory of the fictional country of Bieknur. The collision caused a brief space-time distortion due to the activated quantum engine, resulting in a sudden change in the local relief in the area of the crash, which was subsequently named the "Wandering Horizon." The government closed the anomalous zone and contracted with the private corporation NTechS to protect the area. The corporation began to build a wall and the Megallun system that would later isolate the Wandering Horizon from the outside world.
Over the past nine years, the anomalous zone has undergone significant changes: the anomalies have begun to spontaneously expand, despite all efforts to contain them. Researchers record the appearance of new types of mutants and parasites, as well as strange distortions called “super transformations”. The Corporation's researchers sign non-disclosure agreements to keep the results of their research confidential.
As a result of the Corporation's experiments with glumtra-radiation, a second incident occurred, causing the Megallun Towers to malfunction and subsequently fail. This event caused the zone to expand dramatically and triggered an apocalypse-like global crisis.
The global crisis of the SPRYDITE world
When the anomalous zone expanded significantly, the surrounding regions were critically threatened. The powerful anomalous electromagnetic radiation and the appearance of mutated creatures forced the government to conduct emergency evacuations of the population of these areas, leaving towns and villages empty. Many of these communities became abandoned ruins where nature and the anomalies took over.
After the second incident, anomalous radiation from the epicenter continued to affect electronics even in neighboring countries. However, ways were found to circumvent these problems through the use of gravity stones and super-glumtra-radiation-based technologies. Gravity stones have become a rare and valuable resource mined on the fringes of the epicenter.
Amidst the global crisis, seekers, gangs and powerful organizations rush to the dangerous fringes of the zone in pursuit of profit. Despite the deadly threat from anomalous magnetic radiation and parasites that turn humans into monsters, people continue to take risks to mine valuable gravity stones and GL-biomaterials.
On the fringes of the epicenter, social and governmental structures have all but collapsed. Economic collapse and electronics problems have led to chaos and instability. Traditional forms of power and control have lost their effectiveness, creating ideal conditions for the dictate of corporate interests, as well as for the activity of bandits and looters.
Protagonist of the main narrative:
Bulat is the protagonist, seeking to enter the dangerous zone of the epicenter called “Wandering Horizon” to find information about a missing loved one. However, his mission is much more complicated than it seems. Before starting his search, Bulat has to find his way to the areas of the epicenter, which becomes the starting point of an exciting adventure full of unexpected twists and turns and dangerous challenges. The hero's path will lead him to new acquaintances, unexpected alliances and meetings with insidious enemies. Although Bulat is ready to overcome any obstacles for the sake of his goal, the outcome of events will depend on the choice the player will make.
