Shadow: A Parable of Sappho is a short classic point-and-click adventure game that incorporates elements of poetry and history (which can also be played in one go!).
THE STORY
City of Mytilene, Lesbos. A plague is threatening all of Greece. The city's most beloved poet, Sappho, is summoned by the Seven Sages to Pittacus' house, the tyrant and also one of the Sages.
What at first seems like a humble evening that Sappho is to enliven with poetry and music will soon transform into a dark night where the heroine must negotiate with the Sages, get to know the people of Mytilene, and solve the mystery of the deadly plague that has plunged the city into horror and chaos.
Who is Pittacus, and what dark secret binds his past to our protagonist's future?Â
