August and Semyon have been best friends for many years. But adult life changed everything, ice appeared between them. And now they are connected only by drinking, gambling and a common trouble – an empty future. They can fall to the social bottom or hit the jackpot - all ways depend on the will of chance.

She is August's school dream. The girl he had been happy with all his youth. He wanted to build a future with her, start a family. But mutual misunderstandings did not allow this to come true.
