The V.I.L.L.U AI has turned earth into a perfect, and perfectly boring, utopia. By tightly controlling access to the historical and scientific achievements of humankind, it has lulled humanity into a state of stupefied domestication. As the newest member of the rebellious Wuldorian nation, your mission is simple: inspire the masses by completing a glorious, fuel-crazed voyage to the long-forgotten planet Pluto.
The Engine of the Future
Undertake your Journey by performing a series of Boosts, building power and speed to hurtle your ship through space. Place salvaged fuel items into one of 18 slots on a chaotic engine board, using 6 segments and 3 rings to find optimal synergies.
Stay on your toes - your Wuldorian scientists haven't perfected the engine. Each ring rotates randomly after every boost, so you'll need to adapt quickly to keep your speed as high as possible!
Upgrade, Improve, and Adapt
Between each Journey, unlock persistent upgrades to help your future attempts. Add new modules to your engine to improve your chances at reaching deep into the void, and utilise everything at your disposal to maximise your chances at achieving true Glory!
Recruit Crew Members and promote them to grant extra buffs to your ship - be it increasing the power of fuel items or generating useful resources.
Tinker with items to improve their stats, pushing them to new levels of potential.
Craft Segment Modulators to slot into your engine, boosting segments with different unique effects that can change the entire flow of your engine!
Friends (and enemies) along the way
You'll encounter a variety of random waypoints along your voyage - maybe a friendly Wuldorian ship that boosts your chances of salvaging rare items, or a repurposed V.I.L.L.U unit to "clean" your engine. Or perhaps that lovely ship you're approaching has been infested with pirates!
