The game features over 30 types of zombies, each with unique special abilities. You must adapt your tactical approach and playstyle based on the types of zombies you encounter, or you'll easily find yourself in a passive and difficult situation.

You need to plan your strategy around the items you hold, as a single small item can decide the outcome of a battle at a critical moment. Meanwhile, over ten different professions each have distinctive talents, which play important roles in both camp development and combat.
You can modify weapons or survivors to give weapons unique traits and grant survivors bio-enhanced abilities, unlocking new effects or powers. This system is particularly crucial in the later stages of the game's combat.
The game centers around the "Survival Challenge," where you can push your limits to survive as long as possible. It also offers two completion modes: "Standard Clear" and "Perfect Clear." To achieve the latter and potentially save all survivors, you must accomplish more than just basic survival.
