CONDEMNED: Nightfall is a refreshing and dark take on the extraction shooter. Set in retro environments, including a Noir Futuristic New York City and an Ancient Egyptian village, terrifying creatures have overtaken a once-beautiful cityscape. ABOUT THE GAME:
TWO unique game modes to choose from: HUNT Mode or Classic Survival Mode.
HUNT is a PvPvE Extraction Survival mode featuring rituals, special unlockable abilities, coveted boss bounty rewards and permadeath, meaning survival will not be easy. Once players level-up their hunter to their highest level, they can compete in competitive Hunts for ultimate bragging rights.
Classic Survival mode gives players the nostalgic, round-based survival mode that has been missing in the genre in recent years. Team up with two friends, or go in alone, and survive hordes of the undead as long as you can.
TWO gorgeous and vast open-world maps at launch: a retro New York City map and an ancient Egyptian Pyramid Village, the origin of the dark and terrifying outbreak of evil. Both maps offer beautiful landscapes and tactical gameplay opportunities that create the most intense competitive exchanges, between the undead and other teams of Hunters.
LOADOUTS:
Players will have access to selectable loadouts in both modes, giving players and teams a dynamic strategy when playing. While longer ranged sniper may prove excellent keeping fellow Hunters away, you might need a strong shotgun class to stay safe from the Berserkers that lurk around the map...
SPECIAL ABILITIES:
CONDEMNED: Nightfall features a Ritual system in which players in-game can unlock and customize a selection of OVER A DOZEN Special Abilities to give themselves and their team the ultimate advantage in the Hunt. Abilities range from insane insta-kills to temporary protection, from healing to increasing continuous damage. The Ancient Egyptian Village map serves as a lore-building origin to this system.
CHARACTERS:
CONDEMNED: Nightfall will launch with an expanding roster of playable characters. Each character will have a slightly customizable look, allowing teams to have a unique combination in-game.
