In an era wracked by the wails of the downtrodden, amidst the revelry of debauched ministers, there would slip in a bewitching dancer - with enchanting silken eyes and steps like petals on the wind, she knew well how to ensnare the heart of the lord upon the high seat, luring him into a trance before striking him down in a paroxysm of violence. And before the feast of horror could dissolve into chaos, she would make her egress with the same phantom grace, leaving only a trail of blood and vixen tresses of the same red. Even now, there are faithful among common folk, who raise shrines and offer worship to the kitsune.
