Wolf At Evergreen - about the game

Step into the shoes of Frankie, an investigator for an online vlog series, in this free-to-play indie VR interactive narrative demo. You probe werewolf sightings in the small town of Evergreen by chatting with locals and searching the museum for clues. The experience unfolds through these conversations and explorations, revealing hints about the paranormal rumors. Created as part of a 2021 Master's research project, this PC VR demo received its final update in 2022 and stands complete for download. Fans of story-driven investigations in VR will find a focused loop of dialogue and clue-gathering that suits narrative enthusiasts.

A Research-Based VR Demo from 2021

This VR experience was made as a part of the research component of a Master's degree for Rebecca Kerr with special thanks given to Curtin University and the talented voice actors who helped bring the characters to life.

The initial release was submitted as part of the degree, with subsequential updates to improve user interactions and any bugs.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Wolf At Evergreen (originally Unnatural Freaks) is a VR interactive narrative experience, where you play as Frankie, an investigator who's a part of an online vlog series. Frankie’s role is to investigate rumours of supernatural/paranormal experiences to determine their truth and then make a video log about it.

In this demo, Frankie investigates several werewolf sightings in the small town of Evergreen. By talking with the townspeople and exploring the museum, clues will emerge.
