Stratum Defence Team is a local co-op base defense game for up to 4 players, set on hostile worlds. Your squad is deployed to defend mineral extraction outposts in contested territory.
Each mission follows a cycle of building, defending, and upgrading as enemy pressure increases.
BUILD
Begin with limited resources and a vulnerable extraction site. Construct walls, deploy turrets, and shape the battlefield to control enemy movement and establish defensible positions. Strong layouts create breathing room. Weak ones expose the base.
DEFEND
When the assault begins, players fight alongside their fortifications. Reinforce weak points, repair damage, and respond to shifting threats in real time. Turrets provide sustained firepower, but survival depends on coordination and positioning.
Enemy forces vary by world, requiring adjustments in tactics and structure placement.
UPGRADE
Between assaults, the team returns to the dropship to invest in new structures, stronger defenses, and improved weapons. Upgrade decisions shape the next phase and allow strategies to evolve over the course of a run.
LOCAL CO-OP
Designed for shared-screen play, Stratum Defence Team is built around the classic couch co-op experience. Sitting side by side, players coordinate roles, share resources, and adapt together as the defense is tested.
The game rewards communication, collaboration, and quick decision-making — whether playing solo or with a full team locally.
HOSTILE WORLDS
Defend extraction outposts across distinct planetary environments, each with its own enemy forces and battlefield layouts that require different defensive approaches.
Success comes from understanding both the terrain and the threats it presents.
